The Faculty of Textile and Clothing Technology in Mönchengladbach is one of Europe’s largest study locations for textile engineers with 100 years of history. Offering Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees, courses are taught both in German and English. More than 30 professors, around 25 contract lecturers and over 30 members of staff with extensive know-how provide students with the best education and training, both in research & development. The broad range of studies offered makes graduates of the faculty extremely flexible, providing many different and interesting opportunities for employment in Germany and abroad.

One research focus is Textile Printing Technologies with main emphasis Digital Textile Printing led by Prof. Dr. Muth. The Research Institute for Textile & Clothing Technology is located in the premises.

Cooperation agreements with universities in Europe as well as Asia and America bear witness to Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences’ excellent reputation.
